I got some bad news for you...

Rheumatoid Arthritis is incurable, but you already know that. What you might not realize is that the meds you are taking are not the only thing you can do to help your condition.

Here at THC cream, we provide the same branch of treatment as what your doctors are prescribing, which is to address your symptoms rather than the root cause.

As you might already know, RA is an autoimmune disorder. This means your immune system is overreacting in a way that it attacks your own body. In the case of RA, it mostly affects the joints. Using meds to address these issues can provide relief in the short term. But this doesn’t mean that in the long term, other problems won’t arise as well.

Almost always, these issues are caused by stress. The good news is that they can be addressed. The bad news is that it takes time and effort to make these adjustments

Addressing root cause

Let’s face it, no one WANTS to be stressed. Most of the time, the source of stress comes from external uncontrollable factors such as employment, economy, family and loved ones, and personal health (ironically).

But just because the outcome is uncontrollable, it doesn’t mean you cannot control the way you view the situation. Of course, this is often easier said than done, and it is up to the individual to find their own path in order to see the world differently.

Thankfully, there are tips and tricks that people have developed to help you find this path.

Tip and tricks to reduce stress

Below are some tips and tricks that can help you reduce stress. Keep in mind that this is just a rough guideline to get you started. Do not try to fit all of them at once as that will, in turn, cause stress in your life! Try out all of them and pick the ones that you like or that work for you.

If you are already practicing on your own, feel free to skip this guide.

Meditation has regained popularity recently in the medical community. If you haven’t tried it, you can give it a shot. Aim to do it every day for 15-30 minutes.

Breathwork is also something that can help you reduce stress. Again, it is beyond the scope of this blog. Try to do this five times a week, with each session lasting only 15 minutes.

Heat/cold therapy is another popular option. For heat, dry sauna seems to yield the best results. It is a bit tough if you don’t have access to a sauna, but if you do, try to go five times a week for 30 minutes each session. For cold therapy, a cold shower is extremely accessible. Try to do this every day for 1-2 minutes.

Spending time in nature has also been shown to reduce stress. Take a walk in the park, hiking in the mountains, or just sitting by a stream, being in nature can help you feel more relaxed and at ease. There is a part of us that makes us feel “belonged” in mother nature. If this is accessible to you, give it a try.

Yoga is something many people find helpful. Our team didn’t find it affected our stress levels, but give it a shot. It may work for you!

Finally, music therapy is extremely easy to do. Just head to YouTube and search for ambient music and hit play. Remember to sit down and relax. Don’t go out for a jog or try to work out your problems in your mind. Close your eyes and just enjoy the music. We recommend doing this every day for 30 minutes.

There are many resources out there, but if you are just starting out, we recommend studying the Wim Hof Method. It is very organized and provides a structured approach to breathwork, yoga, and heat/cold therapy. Full disclosure, we are NOT associated with them.

Finally, if you are a geek, you may want to read the works of Emanuel Swedenborg. He lived in the 1700s, so it might be challenging to read, but it is well worth the time to explore. His work on mind-body harmony is still cutting edge to this day.

Remember to keep a journal! Document what works for you.

Final Thoughts

We sell THC cream, but we also want you to be healthy. Please note that our cream can only address your symptoms, and we sincerely hope it will provide you with more time to figure out the root cause of your issues.

Remember, just because it is considered “incurable” does not mean there is nothing you can do. Good luck!
